Fan Constantly running in Electronics Bay-HELP!

I have a 2014 Thor Tuscany XTE 40GQ, and I am hopeful that someone can give me some advice.

Recently after a short trip I heard the fan running in my electronics bay near the rear of the coach (the bay that houses the inverter and other electronics). I understand that this fan turns on automatically when the temperature reaches 104 degrees and shuts off when it get back down to about 89 degrees. In the past it has worked, and shuts itself off. After this most recent trip the fan would not shut off. I searched this website, and discovered others with a similar issue that bought a new "thermo-disk" and it fixed the issue. I opened the bay and found the "thermo-disk" that I assumed must be the issue. When I unplugged the thermo-disk, the fan stopped. I assumed the electronic switch was bad, so I ordered 2 news ones. When I plug in the new thermo-disks the fan starts and does not stop.

Anyone know what else might be causing this fan to run constantly? Any help is much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

As a test, place an ice cube on the disc to see if it stops.
Mine also runs for a long time after shut down.

I replaced the snap disk with an adjustable thermostat. In the south the summer weather does not allow the compartment to cool down enough for the factory supplied snap disk to actuate and cut power to the compartment fan. I used the following part.

White-Rodgers 3F05-1 Adjustable Snap Disc Fan Control, Listed on Amazon @ $11.49

I am not sure why the ice cube trick did not work for you?

I had/have the same problem, and just learned to live with it. A combination of heat from the components in that bay, its location right next to the engine, and especially the exhaust components (!), less-than-great ventilation, and summer ambient temperatures means that the fan will keep running long after shutdown. I used to open that bay door, or just unplug it when I got tired of hearing it. Had a friend who's an electrical engineer test the thermodisc, and he said it was within specs.

I like the idea of an adjustable thermostat -- might go that route at some point.

First of all, thank you very much to EVERYONE who offered a suggestion. Just to clarify, the fan did not run for an hour or two. It runs constantly. Even after the thermo disc are in the frig for a couple hours. It is a recent problem. Up until recently it worked like a charm. It will NOT shut off, it will run for 24 hours, even with 60 degree temps and the bay door open! If it just ran for an hour or two I would be just fine with that.

I have ordered the adjustable thermo disk (Thanks for the information BoDu), so I have fingers crossed that it will work. I will let you know, and THANK, what a great forum!
