Just took delivery of a Chateau 2009 FW Sprinter. Does anyone know if the factory has a warranty repair shop? Here is a list of things that were wrong with our RV. Is this normal? We are leaving Michigan for the SouthWest Monday and plan on stopping at the factory for a tour. We just discovered a bad leak in our skylight. Do you think they will fix it without an appointment?

The web site and printed literature says this has a "Queen" size bed. The bed is 50 inches wide. A queen size bed is 60 inches wide.

Skylight leaked badly.

The mounting screws for the license plate are about 1/2 in too close together so I had to modify the license plate in order mount it.

The RV only has one house battery. Even Roadtrek is using two 6 volt golf cart batteries (which is what everyone should be using). The web site and product liturature does not make this clear.

The house door does not lock and unlock with the Dodge chassis key. It requires the use of a key. This is very inconvenient. View/Navions do.

No gravity fresh water fill.

I don't see how I will be able to connect the dump hoses without laying down under the rear of the coach. It does not seem user friendly.

The dump hose storage area will not allow storage for a dump hose with all the fittings. When I dump I have to put the end on the hose. It would be nice to be able to just pull the hose out and use it.

The cab over bunk ladder brackets are not useable with the slide in.

No tire pressure extensions on the rear wheels. They seem to me to be required.

The plastic strap the holds the bathroom glass sliding door is impossible to snap and unsnap. This needs to be redesigned to be more user friendly.

The entrance door squeaked a lot.

Closet door was put in backwords.

I would have preferred to have the 110 electrical outlet for shore power on the outside.

DVD was not hooked but because they had a change in equipment and they did not know about it on the assembly line.

The Waterford branch of General RV has done a great job of taking care of the warranty issues.

The emergency brake cover deformed.

Windshield curtain one foot too short.

The TV over the entrance door bounces.

They forgot to put in the carpet for the driver/passenger area.

There was no owners manual for the Air Conditioner.
There was no owners manual for Onen generator.
No owners manual for dash radio.

I am sure they will fix the items which are broken/missing (Leak, closet door, carpet) but many of the other items are personal preference and they will probably won't/can't fix them.

Really should have noticed these before...
