George Henry, wanted you to know that today we started the floors in our Hurricane. Remember we discussed this extensively a few months ago. My knees are better and today we removed the old carpet and vinyl. It wasn't as hard as I thought and the floor looks good. I'm going with the Allure floating floor. Will keep you posted on how it coming.......Betty

Everyone on this list was so helpful while I was"making up my mind" that I could do this. Brought the flooring home yesterday. Hope today to begin work on putting it down today. I'm not good at posting pictures, but hubby is--will get him to take some to show everyone..........Betty

Hope it is easy to lay the floor, Frankie. This stuff has a 25 year warrenty against wear, etc. I think it just might be a little overkill for our little Hurricane. But, since we only needed a small amount, why not do the 'good' stuff! We have only a little more 1/8 inch luan to put in and will actually start with the flooring. I am so happy to have that carpet out of there..Betty
