First trip report with my 2017 Outlaw 29H

The good:
Towed great (about 5000 lbs between the trailer and car) - see pic
Air worked well (was pretty hot the first two days)
Really liked being able to keep the rear camera on for the drive to monitor the trailer.

The bad:
Thor didn't include the turntable shaft for the microwave (they are sending one out after I called)

Hydraulic shock pivot pulled out of the entry door threshold (it is swedged to a small steel plate on other side of threshold). I couldn't fully remove the threshold due to hidden screws coming from the sides. However, I did get the backing plate back on...hopefully it'll work.

Autolevel shocks weren't level...needed to be recalibrated. Manual was wrong about hitting front 5x then back 5x to get into cal mode. Needed to be 10X each.

Anti-siphon valve on the black tank flush leaked BAD This ended up being a loose fitting they never tightened. why they put it behind the shower, I can't figure out....its a PITA to pull down

Wall panel to the left of the kitchen "buckeled" from being cut too long. This caused the picture to pop off on the drive home I'm probably going to pull the panel off to trim it a touch then staple it back on.

Congrats on the trip!

Any idea what is your tongue weight?
There's a long discussion here about Class C Towing that hangs on that point. I think it is awesome that a gas Class C can tug 5,000lb

Too funny about the tank flush anti-siphon...ours has always leaked too, when under high faucet pressure. Now, I wonder if it ever didn't leak

If I could piggyback on this tank flush leak...
Steve, were you able to fix your leak?
Fireball, did Thor end up fixing your leak to a no-leak situation?

Wondering because I seem to have a leak in my system also.
Thanks.

Always expect troubles on the first trip out! We had one rig that had some type of minor trouble every time out though.

Yep...new "air gap," AKA "vacuum breaker," AKA anti-siphon thing" was needed...$25 on Amazon.

Guess there's just bits inside of it that get old or break.

Safe travels

I'm replacing mine with the brass one that amazon sells as well.

It'll take something major before I mess with "warranty" with the dealer.

Not heavy...its a 1200lb aluminum 18' trailer...correction...its probably closer to 4000 lbs loaded.
