I am a recent Four Winds owner.
We have a new-to-us 2006 Hurricane 31D on the Ford chasis. I had a few questions about the rig and I was looking for an owners forum but this might be close enough.
I know this rig has a rubber roof on it but I don't know what kind, exactly. I am familiar with the TPO roof and the restrictions about using petrolium based cleaning products.
Also, I am not sure where the main electrical panel is located. Isn't there a breaker box of some kind near the converter? Would it contain a few 110v breakers and some 12v fuses? For the house systems?
Any input appreciated.
THANKS!

With your Gen & power cord, transfer switch and batteries in the rear end of your coach the load center and 12v fuse panel maybe in your bedroom area in closet or a above cabinet.

Thanks... I will check on that.
Shore power hookup is in rear on driver's side.
Generator is mid-ship driver's side.

On my 05 Hurricane 32 R the converter and breaker box are on the end of the bed frame (box), Not sure if the 31D is the same. There are several 120 V breakers and several 12 V fuses behind the drop down door on the converter.

Our Windsport has the breaker/fuse box at the foot of the slide bed. Our 50 amp connection is at the rear drivers side.

Hi All, I hope this is the right forum for this questions. We're a family of 5 looking at a Class C for long weekend trips. We full timed in a Newmar for 18 months but settled down and sold that unit, and now want something small for holiday trips. We're looking at a used Four Winds but are unfamiliar with the brand. How do you all like Four Winds. We're looking at something in the 20k to 30k range. Would these units have heated tanks? We're in CO and we could get hit with a 30 degree night without warning is we're in Rocky Mountain Nat'l Park for instance in fall.
Thanks! Tom
