Front Blind questions for Challenger owners
Our 15 Challenger 37KY has accordion shades on the Passenger and Driver side. We don’t really like them and was wondering if any has or if you can replace them with MCD like shades that the 2016 have?
Thanks KC

If you have drop down bunk - you will need to see how close to wall it is on the way down. I don't think there will be enough space.

2016 have drop down bed so Im sure they must have something fixed out? Im sure the track for our current shades would need to be removed.

KC,
I replaced the rollers on the top of my accordion style shades. I hated the way they didn't open/close easily, problem solved. I also had the problem where front plastic slide in stiffener kept falling out, a dab of cloth glue at the bottom, another problem solved.
My wife has been playing with the idea of replacing our with a cloth similar to the windshield privacy shade that roll down vice sliding sideways.
Best of luck.

Seems my accordion blinds (front windshield side areas) will not stay in the extended position. They keep retracting, if you know what I mean. Plus the windshield shade does not extend all the way down. Its easy to see inside even with the top bed all the way down or up. Its all about privacy to me. I finally found some matching cloth shower curtains and hang them from the bed frame. Not a real fix but problem solved. There must be a better way.

Any luck finding anything to cover those side windows. Would love to block the sun when driving. Not to mention keeping the heat out better.

No, we might buy a set of flip shades from Magna Shade.

KC, I'd be interested to hear what you come up with in regards to the side blinds. The accordion style don't close properly when you close them all the way towards the dash. The unit is hibernating for the winter and I have that on my list for modifications at the start of the season.
