Generator Power

Lost electrical power off the genset. Inverter power and shore power are still available.
Called Thor and tech rep said the power transfer switch has failed. They are shipping new one overnite air.
Anyone know where the switch is located. Of course I can't find anything in the manuals.

It was for my '12 Hurricane. Two good signs for that location would be the hum coming from under the bed when you plug in, and the house type circuit breaker panel on the base at the foot of the bed.

There is also an electronics bay on the Palazzo, its the rear most compartment on the passenger side. Thats where the inverter is located, the transfer switch may be there too. Just call the Thor tech support number, they'll tell you immediately where to find it.

Thanks everyone. As a FYI the Palazzo does not have electronics under the bed.
I did check the aft right inverter compartment. Few items are labeled.
I spoke to Thor before posting. Tech gave me wrong location. Said it was in the battery bay.

I thought you were talking about a transfer switch. Not electronics. I don't know one electric line from another. But I know my electrician put my surge protector under the bed along Side of lots of other wiring. That is on a Palazzo. Glad you found it.

Ok. On my 33.2 i walk down the hallway to the foot of my bed . I raise up the bed & there is a one foot wooden box at the foot of the bed under the mattress before you get to the storage area. The lid to the box is held on with six screws. I didn't take lid off but in that box is where we put my surge protector. My thought is that's where the power come in from the outside. I actually thought the generator came thru there too ??
