We (after a year) finally had a reason to open our hide a bed. When we did the mattress has a tilt to the foot of the bed and the bottom rail is a good 3 inches off the floor and the center post are about the same with neither end touching the floor. I talked to the dealer and they said they never heard of a problem like that so call four winds am still waiting for return call from them any idea what the problem might be

I have heard of this before,or at least read about it.I am thinking someone wrote that they got a sofa designed for a flush floor slideout, instead of the slide design in the Hurricane, the floor sits up about 3".I think the solution should be the trading to another sofa.Make sure you measure the length of the mattress as well as the legs on a new sofa.I bought one from dutchman for a new trailer I bought and the thing wouldnt open all the way cause it was to long. That was one of many snafus on that trailer.
