Who has the most mileage on their Hurricane. We are at 83000 and still going on our '99 29D.

... as far as a fair wind and following sea will carry you! It sounds like your having an excellent trip. Enjoy!

98 with 40K. I had to do a lot of suspension modifications to get it to drive smooth. I wonder if that is why Hurricanes do have a lot of miles. The drive like sh&^%!

My 2007 31D has 12.5K miles on it. It had 6000 miles on it when we bought it in the spring of 09 and we put 6500 miles on last summer. I can't comment on how the older models drive, but the 2006 F53 chassis that is under mine drives fine for a vehicle with leaf spring suspension. The handling was a little crappy when I got it, but an alignment and air pressure adjustment took care of that. We plan on putting about 8000 miles on it this summer

We purchased our 2007 34n with 1403 miles on in March 2009, it now has a little over 19,000 miles on it with almost 10,000 of that being a trip to Alaska in August and September of 2009. The first trip we took in it I was faced with 40-50 mph cross winds and was almost ready to sell it when we returned home. I put a Safe-T-Plus on it and haven't had a problem since.

Sept went from a 27' pull trailer to a 36' with 3 slides and love it. People ask what's your gas milage, how's the power. Never check the gas milage, if I did I wouldn't get any better and the power gets me where I wana go. After all I am retired. The one thing is the oil drain. The pan plug and the filter drain right on top of the axel. I know how to "fix" the drain plug. All in all very happy. I did have a couple of water leaks but that's to be expected, and while enjoying Quartzsite I fixed the leaks. no big deal. bill

It is a device, kinda like a shock absorber, that attaches to the tie rod and the frame. When you get hit by a sidewind or a big rig passes you the device takes the blow and you barely feel the steering wheel move. I will not be without one!!
