How Many Miles In Your ACE?

Just wondering how many miles everyone has traveled with their ACE? We put 11,000 miles on our 2013 29.2 so far. I'm hoping when it's time for new tires its because they wore out, not because they sat and rotted for 7 years! I don't understand why people buy motorhomes and let them sit and never drive them anywhere.

We have a little over 18,000 miles on HaRVey, our 2013 29.2 ACE. We and the grandkids love it!

It is a mistake to allow any mechanical object to realize that you are in a hurry.

Our unit has a bit over 10K, but we have only added about 2k since we have had it. That will change shortly.

We have 9500. Four kids under the age of 10 so first big trip was to Ft. Wilderness at Disney World. 2100 miles each way. Also been to Grand Canyon, San Diego and a couple state parks. Headed out this weekend as well. How many miles do you figure we can get from theses stock tires?

I think the concensus on tires is they are replaced based on age rather than mileage, for us weekend warrior/non-fulltimer types anyway

Wow Ted, were you seeing uneven wear or problems with the ride, or had some failures?

No uneven wear or failures. I wasn't impressed with the ride that the stock Goodyears performed. I have lots of spare tires now.

10,871 when I dropped it off at the not so local Ford dealer Tues morning. The SO and I agreed that if we bought a Class A we'd take a trip somewhere once a month, even if just an overnighter. With surgery for me and a daughter getting married in a few weeks this is the first month since purchase where we haven't made a trip.

And why did I take it to the Ford dealer? Noticed a drop on the ground under the front end last weekend. Crawled under and had a few drops of oil clinging to the bottom of the A/C compressor. But not engine oil. It's a very light honey colored oil. My guess is A/C compressor oil. First problem we've had with the chassis, but at least it's still under warranty.

The AC compressor failed on my 2013 Challenger. The Ford dealer told me it's a fairly common problem. Mine was replaced under warranty which was just as well since it was a 6 hour job. With an oil change they were working on the coach all day.

38,000 miles and counting on our 2012 ACE 29.2!

We just completed a 10 month trip...30 states, 20 National Parks....from Florida to Alaska. Last year we toured all of the Great Lakes for 3 months.
