We just became owners of a new 2010 Hurricane 30Q on the Workhorse chassis. It only has a 4 pin trialer plug. I need to add a 7 pin plug and electric trailer brake control. Anyone now if this chassis is pre-wire for the trailer brake control &/or 7 pin plug? If so, where will I find the connections?

Cheers,

Ken

Welcome ocn to irv2.
Most MFG's run the wires from under dash near steering column maybe in a plastic bag with possible wiring for CB radio also.
Should find wires in back near your trailer plug.
With a 4 wire plug you may not have them in that case people have run two wire along the chassis rail to your brake controller location.
Here is a 7 pin wiring plug link.

We have an 09 30Q with only 4 wires at the hitch. We wanted to tow a 16' enclosed tandem but was in question about the rear overhang. There would be to much weight and leverage without equalizer bars, but with equalizers the amount of vertical movement going over dips or driveways, I was afraid it would break the bars, bend the tongue, or damage the receiver. Any thoughts anyone?
