My (recently purchased) 2000 30Q has front coil spring airbags but are shot. Before I replace them I was wondering if others have added them and liked them? Could you really tell a difference as in better ride or handeling? Even notice a difference?

Thanks for any response.

i had to replace mine on my old chevy chassis, and i relly think you should replace them , as they are an important part of the alignment settings that are designed into the chassis. if your handy, you can do it yourself. just follow the instructions.

SO I have decided to go ahead and replace the coil spring airbags. I'll let someone with both the right skills and tools do the job. Would not having them cause the unit to ride lower to the extent that the front tires will rub against the fender trim? Or am I looking at possibly replacing the springs as well?
