It time to renew my ERS with Coach Net and so far I've be bless. But in case where could I mount a spare tire so that when the time comes I am prepared and don't need to pay the high price for a spare tire from the tow company. Anyone out there carry a spare tire and where?

Mine in under the bed... even has a nice cover on it, but it takes up a ton of room and I'm thinking of making a mount for UNDER the rear of the coach, behind the fuel tank.

I have a spare tire (no rim) hanging behind the fuel tank and between the frame rails. The 245/70r19.5 just fits but yours might not. You will also have to figure some way of securing it up in there. I used a couple of chains thru the tire and around the frame rails for a temporary setup until I can come up with something more permanent. Some folks have room in their basement storage area for a spare but you lose a lot of space.

MyLife, here are pic's of my custom made setup that I did one saturday by myself , I save $1,200 on labor doing it myself. And it only took 3 drill bits .

2006 Hurricane with lots of mods inside & out

On the second pic look at the tag and you will see a small round hole , that is where I put in a long handle with a crank to lower and rise the wheel. I have received tons of emails about it. Go to my members gallery under my name and see how many people have click on to the pic's . that is a brand new wheel and matching tire same as the coach.
