Oh well, no helper

No helper last Sunday so I guess I lost him. No response to my text messages. I guess $30 an hour cash doesn't work anymore.

I was able to replace the electrical outlet (hard time getting that thing to release the wires), change out the seals in toilet (except issue with floor seal as it was too thick and would not seat) but had to use the old one for the floor. Changing the inside seal now the bowl holds water. I tested all of the inside cables and connections and the tester indicated all of the wiring was good. I guess it could happen but two RV parks with fuzzy cable is odd.

Sunday two weeks I will try to get the spark plugs and fuel filter on the generator changed, chassis lubed (never done it before) and steering stabilizer adjusted. Given more time I will do some exterior caulking maintenance as well.

In final I will apply the rust preventative to the storage bay doors and get my ring door bell to work.

Got more done finally

Generator spark plugs and fuel filter changed finally. Chassis lube performed. Steering control stabilizer adjusted and it now drives better.

I bought the Ecocamel Jetstorm PLUS Handheld Shower Head Wand off of Amazon last week. Installed it and tested it with just the water pump from the tank and I am very impressed.

My new cover came in. ADCO replaced it under warranty and I finally was able to change it out Sunday. The Florida sun is brutal on covers. It was only 100 degrees here today and it's not even June yet.

I still have to apply the rust inhibitor to the underside bays on the passenger side of the coach.

Since my house batteries are not strapped or bolted down in the bay I bought a couple of trays and bolt down for them. Hopefully they are the right size. I will install those in a couple of weeks on my next day off.

I'm still having generator cut off issues even with the oil level overfilled.

Onan's are famous for that. My generator would cut off without warning. It was under warranty so I made a appointment with Cummins Atlantic in Roanoke VA. Said it was due to water in the gas and charged me $625 for the service. After third time back they replaced the carborater and 300+ hours later it is still running like a top. I never got a refund for the first service A lesson learned. Clean your carborater or have it done.

Almost caught up

1. Install new storage bay door lifts
2. Finish organizing new storage boxes
3. Exterior caulking
4. Apply rust prevention to underside of storage bays
5. Ongoing generator shut off issues when I hit a bump

New cover is on and looks much better. ADCO took care of me.

The new EcoCamel shower head

I'm impressed so far. A little expensive for just a plastic shower head but you judge for yourself. This is using the fresh water tank and onboard water pump. I have not tried it hooked up to a site yet but I cannot imagine it not being even better or at least the same.

I thought I could add a video to show you but it will not allow it.

New window with shade

I installed the new window with the shade today. It looks great.

I also applied the rust prevention on the undercarriage on each side around the storage bays.

I installed a second Tornado vent. This one to the gray water tank vent.

I will install the Hatchlift hydraulics on 3 storage bay doors on Saturday.

Sorry for the photos oriented wrong

I don't know why the photos are not oriented properly. They were taken properly and saved correctly on my computer but after uploading them to this website they got turned sideways and I don't see a way to correct it on this site.

Hatchlifts installed!

I installed the hatchlifts this morning. I only bought three and I need three more to complete all bay doors that hit me on the head.

The hatchlift works great. Just make sure you don't watch a video that's for a different size than the one you purchased. Read the instructions for the size you get because the offset is different.

Great videos I watched but they were not the size I was installing.

Ordered USB outlets

I ordered two USB outlets. I plan on installing them in the bedroom on each side of the night stand area.

Magnadyne WC-USB-B 12V Wall Mount USB Charging 4 Ports 12-16V DC Input Included with Wall Plate - Amazon - $21.95 each

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0...?ie=UTF8&psc=1

1. I still have to figure out what's wrong with the generator. I plan on taking an hour and tracing every wire from that unit.

2. Apply the rust prevention to the driver side undercarriage.

3. Exterior caulking

4. Fresh water tank cleanout

Couple more tasks completed

1. Completed the rust prevention on the driver side.
2. Made the ladder flag pole holder

I still have to:

1.Install USB charging ports
2. Switch the front fans around
3. Track and figure out the generator shutting off when I hit a bump problem

Here is a couple of pics of the flag holder.

Does anyone have a 2005 four winds hurricane that has put a new Honeywell thermostat in? If not does anyone have one that can provide some pictures of the back side of the control panel. I am having an issue where neither ac fans come on, and the hours on the generator are not showing. Thinking it is a power issue but can not track it down.

I tried replacing the tstat and could not get it to work. I have since put the old one back on and it is not working either.
