We had a major windshield leak the other week that definately came through the top gaskets. The next day we were in a even heavier rain and no leak at all. The only difference was that the first leak the storm was coming from behind, the last was from the side or front. The only other time a leak was noted was in late November 2007 with a couple drips on the dash. I immediately checked all caulking & recaulked the marker lights which needed it but could not isolate the source of leak then. This new leak definately was through the upper windshield gasket, the glass appears to be in place. To date I have not been able to duplicate a leak by water hose. I have been in the Auto, Truck, Marine & RV industry for 40 years and this type of problem (intermittant), I have found to be the worst nightmare of all concerned. When weather gets a little warmer, I plan on doing a blower door test ( pressurize the interior ) and verify with soap bubbles. If that fails to prove the leak, which is possible, I'm at a loss on how to proceed.

I was just wondering if anybody has had a similiar experience. I have read about the windshields popping out, willing to go to the factory if need be and prefer that to get it done. I have a fair dealer but don't want to part with my baby for the length of time they require. I use & enjoy my Hurricane weekly.

I went through it. My windshield would pop in the left corner out of the frame and then pop back in.It drove me nut.My dealer got an outside glass shop and they resealed it.I have not had a problem since.I am very carefull how I set my jacks, not to torque te frame.I hope I didnt jinx myself.
