Back-up monitor power

I have the 2007 Ford Chassis and the back-up monitor has quit working. I've checked all the 12v power panels for something that looks like it might feed the power to this unit. I used to be able to push the power button and the power light would come on and the monitor would work all the time. Now if I put the MH in reverse the power indicator light lights, but the monitor doesn't come on. Does anyone know where the power for the monitor comes from or if there is some other issue causing this problem?

37BG Discontinued

Well...news from December is confirmed on the Thor Motor Coach website....the 37BG is unceremoniously discontinued in a year-end change:
https://www.thormotorcoach.com/outla...a/floor-plans/
Bye bye 13 1/2 foot deep garage.

So remaining, there's the very nice 37RB and the very, very nice 37GP.

Really TOO BAD from my point of view. If they had just put in an interior style loft in the forward garage ceiling like in the venerable 3611/37LS...maybe using the Happi-Jac lift for the loft to increase headroom for loading, instead of the in-garage bunks...it might have sold better.

But TMC knows what sells, so take my opinion with $8 and get yourself a coffee at some fancy coffee shop

Ya, that new look is ok, looks like they are getting away from using pre-existing truck headlights. Does this make the new headlamps easier or harder to improve or replace? I suppose the Challenger will be the same?

And of course I still dislike all the black paint and wish they would offer a lighter color option for us in the sunny Southwest. And still very swooshy with the graphics, meh.

An executive at Outdoor RV recently studied the dark colored RV's vs. the lighter exteriors and published that the difference is about 37% higher temp in the dark colored rigs

On the positive, that is 37% less heat needed in winter...BUT in the summer, that's 37% more AirCon needed to cool the rig
I'll pass.

About the lights...gone are the pick-up truck light buckets. Every Class A in the 2019 TMC line-up appears to be using these single-round lights. Each just has a different light-body holding 3-4 lights. Hella pioneered these with their line of 90mm lights. Any guesses if these are Hella's?

2016 Headlights

Just replaced the headlights on my 16 OTL with projector lamps. What a difference! For those that may consider upgrading your lamps, the headlights are sourced from a 07-12 Chevy Silverado truck and the fog lamps are from a 04 Buick Regal. I can see again!

Carid has a good source of lighting options. I went with the Black Halo Projector Headlights with parking LEDs. Goes good with the black front cap...

headlights

thx 14theroad ! That should make it easier to replace mine. I took a look up there and headlight bulbs look about impossible to replace without removing the whole assembly - was your swap out hard?

The swap wasn't difficult. Took about 30 minutes per light. There are 3 nut/bolts holding the bracket assembly to the front cap. one nut/bolt and a couple of screws holding the bracket to the light fixture.

I would place tape over the lens of the replacement so not to scratch the lens. There is one vertical adjustment for the light which is easily accessible. I used the wall /25 ft. method to align my headlights; I can see again!!
