Concur that something is wrong. I just went out to my 2015 37 LS and confirmed that the loft and salon switches function as 3 ways.

Engine Options

Does anyone know if/when the 2020 Outlaw's will have the new Ford V8 instead of the V10? The Thor website still indicates the V10 and I wonder if they are just late in updating or that have some stock of the stripped chassis to get through first.

Prognostication follows...
1. The motor change made it to the features list on the Ford website for the stripped chassis models in early December:
This most probably means the V10's are all used-up.

2. In this business, it is a build as orders are made, model. So, I would bet that the last 6.8L/V10's were all pre-purchased and delivered to the makers up through November. The last of the 2019's with V10's are all sitting on the factory back-lots and will be used-up before we see any of the 7.3L/V8 equipped chassis moved-in to build.

3. TMC, Forest River and Winnie are the big 3 (in that order) and use their buying power to keep prices manageable, but that means the chassis' are a few months old when they get in the RV factory door.

4. The smaller volume makers hold smaller stocks of chassis, so newer models might get to the factory earlier for these smaller brands (but not always).

5. And finally, TMC dealers make their first orders for the new year at the insiders open house each year (all TMC units are pre-purchased by dealers) each September. The bigger volume dealers have faster turn-over, so they will be showing the newest of the new.

So...when and where will we see the first 7.3L powered Outlaw?
I submit it will be a mid-2020 model delivered to the dealer in late May or June and the unit will probably show-up at MHSRV in Alvarado TX (Biggest TMC sales by volume).
But the FIRST 7.3L in a motorhome? I think that will be sometime in the Spring 2020 in a boutique (smaller volume) builder like Newmar.

Safe Outlaw Travels

P.S. I noticed that TMC is not playing-up the new engine at this transition point. Probably because that talk would typically depress the value of the older chassis sitting on the dealership lots.

At least 3 way on every Outlaw I was ever in.
Thanks Steve, I suspected that was the case. I pulled the loft switch yesterday and it was wired wrong. Swapped 2 wires and it works as it should.
