ice maker

Hi all,
My wife is really hooked on the ice maker in our adventurer and is put out that the serrano we are looking at doesnt have one. Can one be installed in the norcold refer as a kit.

I pulled the ice maker within the first week of ownership.. It takes up 1/3 of the freezer compartment. I need the room more than the ice.

You can buy stand alone icemakers that sit on your counters. The price is $150-200 range, may be cheaper than having one installed in the frig. Theo only draw back is that you need to empty them when the ice is made.

we are dealing with female logic here ; so I said maybe there is a kit that can be added. I will see if camping world has it. Also no oven doesnt thrill her. Now there is a fix for that as she already has a portable oven.
