Inflatible bed

We used our inflatable bed for the first time last Tuesday (we bought our Challenger 37GT last March). Our grandson was the lucky one who woke Wednesday morning on a flat bed. I tightened the cap but it went flat again Wednesday night. We bought an inflatable at Walmart and it has held air. Called the dealer and the salesman said he was certain Thor would replace it when we get home. We plan to keep the Walmart bed as a backup. Pretty rough when you end up sleeping on the bed frame!

Apparently, these things are notorious for loosing air!

My last coach had one that actually held air.

Our Bounder has one by Flexsteel. It works great and holds air. I think it's a Queen Aire mattress. Unzip right top corner - open air fill / release cap. Attach electric pump. Plug in. In about 35 seconds it's full. My BIL swears by the mattress. Loves sleeping on it. Open air fill and deflates quickly and stores with mattress pad, sheets and a light blanket - no problems.

Other than the inflatable bed issue, how do you like this particular RV and plan. This it the one that we are looking most seriously at getting and want to get owner input on whether this is a good one for us to fulltime in. I really want to get to a dealer and 'try one on', but won't have a chance until December. Any input would be great- but my biggest concerns are how 'big' does it feel when set up? And after having it a while, what things about it are 'bad' (obviously the inflatable bed). We are going to be traveling/boondocking with 3 small dogs and 2 cats, so space for them to 'separate' is key.
Thank so much for any input!
