I haven't seen anyone with a rear mounted genset complain of a Code 36 shutdown, so I believe the relocation has resolved the issue. IIRC, the mounting location change was made mid-way through the 2014 model year. All ACE's manufactured prior to that are prone to the Code 36 shutdown in the right conditions (high ambient temps, genset and chassis engine running for extended periods). Owners have tried various fixes to include louvered genset bay doors, insulation on fuel lines, an additional electric fuel pump, and various heat shielding. Because of the variety of fixes tried, results have been mixed. The original Thor fix of a heat shield and fuel line insulation was ineffective. I believe most people who added an electric push pump had some success. I elected to have Thor relocate my genset to the rear (went from front bay driver's side to rear bay passenger side) and have never had any more issues.
