The Outlaw is the original, best selling, and most popular Class A Toy Hauler.

But there have been others, see:
http://www.irv2.com/forums/f258/clas...rs-130973.html

The Mrs and I sleep 100% of the time in the over-garage loft. We cannot, but would not "sit in bed." But most adults generally can fit upright, with a tilted head and sitting-up in bed is very easy on a stack of pillows to watch TV or read, etc.

There are many, many other options within the Outlaw brand with the MD, the RB, the GP and new MB...plus the Class C's.

Like Jeff offers, come join owners in the link below my signature photo for more opinions.

Best luck

The good:
*Very low miles on the chassis.
*Body and decals look in good condition.
*Has the optional leather couch and dinette material with sub-woofer in dinette (became part of the "Scorpion Package")
*Sink is so unused, still has maker's decal.
*Fueling Station is intact.
*Price is reasonable for that area.

The bad:
*Probably the Ford 22,000k (lightest) chassis = 1,500lb garage capacity.
*Sat in-place - A LOT (almost 2400hrs on the generator and very low chassis miles...probably sat with AirCon running)
*Front seat material is in bad shape.
*Salon TV frame is broken.
*Original TV's are there = pre DTV. So they can't pick-up current broadcast signals (will need to swap or get DTV tuner(s).

Best luck

Thanks for your observations.

The 1,500 pound garage weight capacity is a non-issue. With a Shorai lithium battery and a partial tank of fuel, my motorcycle weighs no more than 400 pounds. My wife's motorcycle weighs even less.

Me thinks that is exactly what Thor/Damon designers were thinking offering the 22,000lb GVWR Chassis.
Smaller loads just don't need the 26,000lb chassis, and the 22K has a much better ride at lighter loads.
Plus you still have the 30,000lb GCWR as the other chassis.

We have the "intermediate rating" 24,000lb Workhorse chassis that was available. And even it is a bit "bouncy" in the back if not fully loaded.
Like one-time, we were helping a friend move a shop from TX to CA and loaded the garage with about 2200lb of tools and such. That was the BEST ride we ever had. That was even better than when we have the Smart car in back (1,800lb)...sooo smooth.

This is because our RV's have leaf springs that are not adjustable like airbag suspensions, for load. Just a function of design.

All new Outlaws have the 26,000lb GVWR chassis...that is good as long as owners understand what that means. If they only carry a light load in the garage, it will be VERY bouncy in back and that impacts the overall road manners. Plus, even at full payload, we still get 6-7MPG average (7.5-8.5MPG is our typical best), so we always load-up.

Safe Outlaw travels
