Jensen JRV212T Radio Remote

If you ever wanted one, get a substitute for the original one referenced in the owner's manual.

And you know this works?
I would rather have the steering wheel control, but it is not for our head unit.

I am serious about the remote though. The stereo is one of the most distracting and dangerous things in the cockpit. Rarely do I ever change to the correct station/mode the first time with the vague touch screen.

Yes. I ordered one about a week ago. It arrived the day that I posted the link.

It woks to change radio band, control power, volume, scan stations, listen to the Weather Band, and it has buttons for the station presents.

It works from the rear bed, as long as there is a line of sight.

I like this remote.
It reminds me of a Directv remote. I also ike the way the buttons are more defined. I think it would be easier to know what one is doing while keeping the eyes on the road.
A question I have about both is do they allow one to change radio stations while keeping the rear camera on the screen?
I like to drive with the rear camera function on so I can watch whatever I have mounted in the hitch. One thing I dislike is having to switch to the audio screen to change a preset station to then go back to the camera function.

I have never tried that, I'll check next time I'm in the rig...
Yes, it selects presets while the rear cam view is on.
