Hi all,
Well we bought the used serrano 31x that was in orlando. Just wanted to thank everyone here who posted their issues which gave me a list of things to look for. The funniest was the water in cup holders issue. I knew it recently rained hard in orlando and was chuckling with the saleslady about the things I wrote down to check and sure enough the drivers cup holder was full! Discussed with her the issues and how the forum said they should be repaired and she agreed.
I didnt like the flow out of the roof ac vents so I called thor support and got a very helpful guy on the phone. He said the metal diverter inside the shroud was not taped properly and most likely letting the air just go into the roof area. Made sense to me. We pick it up next saturday after swapping out of our 04 adventurer. Anyway thanks to everybody and I will keep reading.

Hi,
I'm really enjoying reading your post, it's been very informative. I'm almost decided to buy the Serrano 31X, either 2011 or 2012. I think you bought your in Sept 2011, my question to you is; do you still enjoy the unit and would you recommended to anyone? I plan to use it for the next 3 yrs on occasion and at retirement I will use it for 6 months every years. What do you think. Thank you in advance.

Hi,
I am presently using it in north ga. Although there are alot of nice features on this unit I could not recomend it. I worked my but off the first week just fixing, screwing, adjusting, trying to figure out how things worked. Im talking serious working. Quality controll non existent ; I called it a kit motorhome , you buy it and then finish it yourself!!!!!!! The chassi is excellent. 12.5 mpg from fl to north ga @ 60 mph.
The toilet and shower are too small ; not the rooms themselves but the actual item! The kitchen sink has its own holding tank up front so its kind of a nuisance. Call me for more if you feel like it as I have limited computer use now. larry 352 279 3594

Thor has a recall on the Serrano to fix the water leak from the rear view mirrors leaking into the cup holder.
