LED interior lights
I ordered my LED lights, but they came with the wrong adaptor. For the ACE interior lights, is the socket size a 1156? I think what I got was a 9A? Not sure, but they are too small. I wish I could just buy the adaptor.

I changed all mine over in the cabin but am rethinking this expense. The lights are too white and too bright! I feel like I'm in Wally World when they are all on. Now if someone could suggest a way to dim those lights I'm all ears.

I got these for my interior lights:
10x BA15S 1156 1141 Dome Bulb 36 1210 SMD LED Warm White | eBay
from eBay. They are warm white. The look like an incandescent light. Had them over a year now with no issues.

48SMD is about the highest number of emitters I've seen for an interior light. Do you find these to be brighter than an original incandescent, or about the same?

48SMD LED's will be very bright, I have 24SMD's in mine and are comparable to the originals, other than I went with 5000k rather than the 4300k so they are a lot whiter, used the 4300k in bedroom. I am very happy with the conversion. and saves lots of battery when boondocking.
Don't mind the mess, been set up working 7-12's for five weeks.

The key also when choosing LEDs...is picking the right color temp. If you go all 6K and above...you'll look more like a spaceship and the light can be very harsh. Lower temp looks closer to incandescent but will run much cooler and less wattage. It really is preference. I love switching on multiple lights and NOT hearing the cooler fan go off at the electrical box. Switch on one incandescent and I think that is enough to kick that fan on...that and the fixtures won't burn your hand!

FYI, I have bought a lot of quality products from SuperBrightLEDS.com and v-leds.com Both for cars but many for the RV also.

I'm not much of a do-it-yourselfer, but am learning! Is it hard to switch these out? Or are they sort of "plug and play"?

In most cases, it's as easy as "changing a lightbulb". I suppose the true answer depends on exactly what sort of light fixture you have. If you can find a bulb identification number for what you have now, you can do an internet search for that number and find out if there are LED equivalent bulbs available.
