Lippert Entry Steps

I have a 2011 Thor Astoria 40KT which I bought new. I am having a problem with the entry steps as follows;
When the steps deploy or retract they pulse two to three times before they stop. I have tried lubrication but apart from that I am unsure how to stop them doing this. Any ideas out there?
Thanks Ray

there is a thread somewhere on here about that. I found it last year. my steps did the same thing. got the parts at o'rally auto store under $5 fixed in ten minutes. Its like three round plastic bushings that gets a flat worn on the side of them. i'll see if I cant find them.

If it is doing this you may need a new motor:

Lippert entry steps

Hi Dave, thank you for that quick reply, it confirms what I heard from a friend here. I will get those wheels and replace them.

After you fix them, let the steps come all he way out before putting any weight on them. It will keep those plastic bushings from eating themselves.
