Hey Ken! My hubby, and I are membership chairman for TDC, and we've been displaced from our home in SC due to the flood. We will not be home now until after the Outer Banks Rally. We will be able to get our mail, and catch up with all applications on Nov 1.
Welcome to the best club ever!

Welcome to the group of Tuscany owners! If you haven't already done so, check out the Thor Diesel Club's website here, http://thordieselclub.org/ and be sure and join TDC. Thor will pay for your first year's membership in the club but you have to fill out the paperwork and submit it to them. Here is a link: https://thormotorcoach.com/thordieselclub

check engine light
Just picked our 2014 Tuscany XTE 40 GQ up from storage and the check engine light came on. The nearest Freightliner shop we could get into on relatively short notice was over 100 miles away. I did not want to drive that far not knowing what was up. We found a local shop that does Spartan products and they know Cummins engines. To make a long story short they found the sensor to the fuel water separator had come loose. An easy fix but I had know way of knowing plus this would not have been a good light to ignore and drive 100 miles to Freightliner.
One other issue that came up was there was radiator fluid dripping on the top of the generator. We had the same issue with our Palazzo. It seems the fittings to the heat exchanger were not tight. Thor blames Freightliner and Freightliner says that is a Thor issue. With our Palazzo the radiator fluid levels dropped low enough, without our knowing, to cause the engine to shut down with 30 seconds warning. Not fun in traffic. Once the fittings were tightened the issue went away. The lesson we learned is to "often" check the top of the generator for fluid leaks.
We're really glad Jack Arnold will be the new president of TDC. And a big thanks to Fred & Tina Barnia's leadership.
