The large slide on my 34N is very slow to close. Is there an adjustment or is it low on hydraulic fluid. How do you add fluid if that's the issue or make the adjustment?

Mine was a bit slow to close...turned out to be a bad house battery. But then, I also had issues with the my leveling system. It would quit with a message of low voltage...

I am not sure you can add fluid, but you should be able to view it from the drivers side compartments...the narrow one... (at least on mine)

Was out in Arkansas for 10 days and had problems with my slide in the living room. I ended up loosing all power. Can anyone give me an idea of where I might find the two 15 amp fuses that power the system. I understand I have a Infinity, but maybe they put them in the same place on the Hurricane. Thanks

TNBULLDOG: Sounds like a weak battery. Is it still slow when you are plugged into AC power? Check the fluid level with the slides in and jacks up. The tank is usually located on top of the hydraulic pump. There is a cap on top of the tank that unscrews and has a built in dipstick. I use Dexron III ATF. This assumes that you have an HWH hydraulic system.

FATMANOBX: On mine there are a couple of inline fuses located in the wiring harness right at the hydraulic pump. There may be additional fuses in the fuseblocks under the dash and in the front access compartment but I haven't really looked for them.

I had the same problem with my slide closing slow. I noticed it was the house battery because I crank the generator and then I tried closing the slide and the generator turns off. Took the battery in for a test and it was bad. Put new battery and all is well.

The fluid level was low, that fixed my problem. When the unit came back from the factory they didn't fill the fluid. Worked okat till it got cold.
