Mirror Mount
Does anyone know how the mirrors are mounted. I have driven through some rough roads the past few days and my passenger side mirror seems to be vibrating quite a bit. I can move the mirror by hand and it seems to move quite a bit. I found a hole that was covered in the bottom and removed it. There is a nut accessible and it is good and tight. Inside the hood area I see a few sheet metal screws through the fiberglass but don't see any way to access them. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Is the entire case around the mirrors loose or is it just the glass mirror itself and the chrome case is tight?

I had same issue. Remove bottom cap and remove bolt. This will allow you to rotate the mirror arm assembly toward front of RV. It is slotted and at one point it will allow you to pull the whole assembly up. You will need to pull the wires out some. Once the mirror arm is out of the silver cover the cover can also be pulled out of the way exposing the four bolts that attach the cast aluminum block to the coach. I used heavy duty Locktite on the bolts.

Do you have a Winnie or Thor RV? A picture of your mirtor might help, too.

I had to tighten driver side mirror first on my Tuscany 34ST and recently on my 36MQ. I would not think the passenger mirror would be different except you might have to move the arm toward the rear of the coach after removing the bolt. The arm is engaged in a slot and has to move to a position that allows it to come up out of the block that is attached to the coach.
