Mirror upgrade

I am just back from a 3500 miles long trip and came to the final conclusion that I want to upgrade my outside mirrors.
Two years ago, I installed side cameras in the hope they would improve my mirror situation (Velvac Star Mirror with wedge mirror. The side cameras are OK but of no use as driving mirror replacements.

Has anybody ever upgraded their outside mirrors on a Hurricane or similar motorhome? What did you do? Was it complicated, did the new, larger mirror heads require structural strengthening of the attachment points? If yes, what did you do for this?

I really would like to install the forward protruding mirrors one can find on one of the bigger units, but my front cap is a single fiber glass unit, and I doubt that it is strong enough to hold up to the vibration forces of these large mirrors, or can it be done without problems?

Any advice and experience report would be appreciated very much!
