Why are you changing out is there a problem or just need more room?

Hi Nightrider, I just want more room and I do not like the step up into the shower. Looking for a square pan that will sit on the floor and give me more space. But the question pop up how about the water trap drain. Well I am going to use the HEPVO trap. I am still researching and when the down time come (winter) I will work on it.

The main thing is the drain get a good one and make sure you have access to it, one issue is there is never any room to work under the pan so #@!*! tight might be something to include when putting the ideas together.

Basic shower pans should work fine and the surrounds might have to be trimed depends on the height...

My shower pan sits up on wood. I have wires that run underneath it. I fished wires for my battery monitor under mine. Look from under your bathroom sink, you can see the shower drain and the wires that run underneath.

I am looking at a few shower pan and the wall at Lowes and Home Depot, much cheaper then at the RV places. I noticed that under my shower pan there is the heater hose, which I will remove and cover at the heater unit. I do not need heat in this area. Keep the infor coming and if any pics out there send it. Thanks to all
