More Hurricane questions

Good day
I had to change tow dollies, and my new dolly has electric brakes. I have installed the brake controller inside my 2001 chassis Hurricane (what a pain to find the factory connector), but I am at a loss about the location of teh connector for the wires, under the motorhome.
I have a lat trailer plug installed , but the wires are inside a big wire loom, and I don't know to which connection point they go. Where should I be looking for this connector to be able to pull more wires? To my new 7 pole outlet?

Please help me!

Hudsoner-

Ford or Chevy chassis under your coach?

What is a "lat trailer plug?"

Is there a trailer hitch connector on the coach now? How many pins in it?

Ford F53 chassis "lat" was a typo, was to be flat! One of those typical small utility trailer connectors. I think it is 4 pins

Hudsoner-

The below is an educated guess. Ford took the reference info for the 2000 F-53 chassis off its Web site. There are also some diagrams on iRV2, but I'd have to dig to find them. iRV2 user "Subford" often responds to 2000-and-before F-53 wiring questions.

Follow the wires forward from the coach hitch connector. The wire bundle usually follows the driver-side frame rail. Within a few feet, you may find two brown, black or grey connectors, each about an inch square. Those are the Ford connectors. The brake controller wire is in one of the pigtails attached to those connectors.

If you find the connectors, take a picture or two of each (especially if you can get pictures showing the wires entering and exiting) and post them here.

On my slightly newer Hurricane the rear Ford connectors are on top of the fuel tank with the feed coming down the driver's side of the chassis frame rail. From these connectors back to the hitch receiver are coach builder cabling and connectors. Never traced them up forward so no idea where or what to look for.

The last few days were so rainy that nobody could crawl under the rig.
