Took delivery of the new RV this afternoon. The walk through technician was superb. Not only did he fix/adjust items that i had question about (very few,by the way) but also told me about items they had discovered in the prep and fixed (again, very few) -- he noted the often encountered water leak around the mirror mounts that was the topic of a recent service bulletin and explained how they made the fix.

Although new, it had 2000+ miles from the trip out from Indiana factory and no issues were noted by the driver. It handles so much better than our previous Class C.

Wife and I were both exhausted after the almost 3 hour walk through and have been going thru manuals instead of beggining to get it loaded. This weekend will be a chance to get it out on the road again and get some miles under our belts before we head south and east for the remainder of the winter.
Thanks to all who post here and share their experiences and knowledge. I have learned a HUGE amount in a very short period of time.

One Happy Camper!

Acemart,

Congratulations on your great new coach. Once you get on the road let us know on the Workhorse Forum how you like it. Also consider joining the Workhorse Chassis Motorhome Club at the Workhorse website. PRODUCTS It's a good idea you register your coach as well.

Enjoy your new toy,

Dave

I bought my 2011 Serrano 33A new and they didn't give me all the manuals. I've compliled what I could find here http://www.hill-family.us/serrano/ along with drafts of check lists.

Serrano is no longer in the driveway!
We left north Idaho on Jan 14th just before a big snow storm hit. Are now in Myrtle Beach, SC after a 6 week, 4300 mile 'shakedown' trip. Have driven in rain, freezing rain, snow, sleet, sunshine, wind; over mountains and across plains and deserts. Towing a 2011 Honda CR-V and averaging about 11.5 mpg. Have had extended stays in Tucson, San Antonio and Orlando while other times drove 2-3 days in a row.
No major issues with the Serrano .... but am making a list of minor items, which, if I were more handy with tools i could most likely fix myself. None of these minor items will keep us from completing our journey back to Idaho in May. Very pleased with its handling and its quality.
Many thanks to other Serrano owners who reported issues with theirs as that has made me more aware of potential problems.

I am pleased that your trip is going well and I am looking forward to hearing how the balance of your trip went?

Happy RVing!

Now that's what I call a real good shakedown cruise. And to get curb service from Mike!

I personally delivered one of our very best iRV2.com stickers!

In our conversation he was very pleased with the performance of the Workhorse chassis and Acemart did not have much if anything to gripe about the coach.
