New Onan 5500 Generator

I recently purchased a 2013 Challenger 37DT with a Onan 5500 generator. The generator starts and runs fine, but will not power anything. The green light ( and red light on the outside start switch) blink rapidly once started, and never stop. All fuses OK and breakers on inside and outside are good. Fuel good, oil good, only had 12 hours so far. Anything I am missing? I see the posts about the fault codes, and my shows a code 12, but can't find any details.

That's the same geny we have in our Newmar. Never any problems yet. I would get back to the dealer as that's what you can do with a new rig. Cummins owns Onan also and any Cummins shop will service them for free under warranty.

Generator

Thank you for the replies. I am taking it back in. Just wanted to see if I was overlooking something simple.

Thumbs up Fixed

Had generator in shop, board on the controller switch was bad. They replaced, and all is well. The generator was reporting fault codes 12 and 15.
