well the mandalay is a step or 2 above our windsport, and if its built as good as ours ,and it should be, then its got to be a great unit. four winds does a good job on these units. i hope the turndown hasn't affected their construction.

well i'd like to hear some opinions also, but i guess the mandaly owners are too busy running their units to respond.

I own a 2006 40E that I purchased new and I have been very pleased with it. I found it to have far more features and options than other RV's in a simular price range. The only real problem was defective hydraulic hoses to all the slides which the dealer replaced according to Mandalay's instruction. Mandalay is excellent when it comes to warranty service.

After a lot of research, we bought a 2006 40F new. We absolutely love it. We bought it with the idea that we would keep it until we were no longer able to go RVing. We go to RV shows when it is convenient. We have yet to see one that we would rather have and that includes some coaches that cost nearly double what we paid for this one. It is convenient, comfortable, easy to drive, and problems have been few and far between.

There is a Mandalay owners' forum. You may wish to monitor that.
