rallys for all of Thor co.

Heartland has a great plan for rallys for all of there different trailers.

Maybe Thor could ask them about how they are doing.
then they could have somthing like them sit up. It works very well for them just wondering

A thor rally would be great.....especially held near the manufacturing plant so problems could be taken care of while at rally. Montana did a great job doing this while we owned our fifth wheel.

Jim,
Thor is a large company with many powered and un-powered models so I doubt that they would have a rally for the entire Thor line or a specific model like the Palazzo. If you have not joined the Thor Diesel Club (TDC), first year paid by Thor, I would suggest that you sign up; http://www.thordieselclub.org/

There is a TDC spring rally 5-10 May (Eureka Spring AR) and their International Rally is held in Elkhart in the fall, October 6-11. Many owners make appointments to have work done during the International Rally and do plant tours as well.

Happy RVing!
Jack

I would like to see Thor set up a club for their gassers like they do for their DP.

The TDC started off some years ago as the Mandalay Travel Club with, what appears, little involvement from the coach manufacturer. The Mandalay Luxury Division, Four Winds and Damon were merged in September 2010 into Thor Motor Coach. This would allow the club to accept owners of other Thor diesel units as members. The Mandalay Travel Club became a group under the Thor Diesel Club. The Thor Diesel Club was formed October 2010 as an international chapter of the FMCA (Family Motor Coach Association).

Mandalay/Thor Diesel Club history; http://www.thordieselclub.org/TDC_PDF/Thor_Diesel_Club_History.pdf

Currently there are 300+ members representing millions of dollars of Thor products so it is not hard to understand why Thor Motor Coach is interested in supporting this club. Thor did not start this club the coach owners started the club and did all the hard work to get it to where it is today.

I think you have a wonderful idea to start a Thor Gas Club but you and like minded coach owners need to get the ball rolling. If you need assistance with starting a club or expanding an existing club like Mandalay Travel Club did I suggest contacting the FMCA. They have boiler plate bylaws, etc. to get you going.
