Rebuild King base bed to regular Queen and add Queen Icomfort or Tempur Pedic

I still have a few things to do before tackling this project but I have started my fact finding for my next large project.

I want to get rid of the uncomfortable RV King size mattress (barely can walk around the bed - no room) and change it to a regular Queen size where I can have a regular size mattress like Serta I-comfort or Tempur Pedic.

I have spoken to RDD001 about it and he has provided me some photos as this is what he did.

I know my fresh water tank is under the bed and the fuse panel is on one side and maybe even the inverter is under there too.

If anyone has any comments, other ideas, or has done this I would like to hear from you please.

If you had the same problem and solved it another way which might be easier I would like to hear that too.

Thanks again for all of the brainstorming.
