I just got back from our families "big" trip of the year. We went down to Disney's Fort Wilderness campground. Took 11 days total, 3 days driving down, 7 nights in Fort Wilderness and 2 days driving home. During our driving portion, my wife, kids and I usually count the RV's we see to give us something to pass the time. We counted 327 RV's on the way down and 514 on the way home (11 of which were Hurricanes, forgot to count on way down!)!! RV's counted were evenly ranged from the smallest pop-ups to unbelievable luxary coaches. It was very nice to see that the RVers are still out and about during these difficult money times the country is going thru. Just some food for thought.

Funny....and we thought we were the only ones to count RVs... We have been doing it as a time-passer...even tracking brands we see.

We will be heading to Florida in Nov/Dec and will let you know what our total looks like compared to 2007.

Just an FYI...found the papers that my daughter had that tracked RVs in Nov 2007 (round trip Charlotte to Sarasota)

We saw:
469 Class A's
29 Class Bs
96 Class Cs
176 5th wheels
159 Travel trailers
8 popups
14 pickup campers

We even track brand of Class As!
The most popular were Bounders, Southwinds, Endeavors.

...It passes the time...

Rich, I'm impressed!!! lol That's almost considerred work! We just count units, usually we end up having a 3 minute conversation (read arguement!) about which number we left off on when we're trying to add a new one to the count. haha
I just like to see that there are others out there still traveling with there families and trying to make the best of times.

Keep counting!!

Yea...we are a unique family... ;-)

My daughter even developed a spreadsheet so she could print it out before we left and check off the boxes as we go. As mentioned, we will let you know what the tally's on our next trip look like!
