Heard from Brian. Sent TPMS instructions. Should be able to reprogram it now.

Hello yall, well Christmas is almost here and if you’re like me the only thing on my Santa list are lower gas prices…so fingers crossed. J

Just a quick update, I received my unit back from the dealer yesterday and everything was repaired to like new and functioning status, the service manager and especially the service engineer named Robert is a great guy with a ton of patience and has a lot of knowledge on the Redwoods. I was told the salesman were on a trip to the factory for a tour and found it amazing that they wouldn’t be taking the service guys as well for some training…but hopefully that’s in the future.

So one item that I wanted to toss out was about a small problem I mentioned earlier that has turned into a big deal. I noticed that the black coating on the exterior underside of my LV slide out was flaking off, turns out that the factory said the paint manufacture screwed up the batch when it was mixed originally and sold to Redwood. The solution is that the whole slide out has to be removed and a new floor has to be installed, going to take a long time to order it and get it installed and Redwood will only pay a small amount to the dealer to do it. I am really nervous that the work will be rushed and cause future issues with alignment and operation. And I am really confused why it is only on one of the five slide outs, theory would point towards all five slides having the same bad undercoating but just not flaking off yet. I will be tracking this some more and keep you all appraised of what I find out.

Well I hope you are all enjoying your Redwood rolling apartment as much as we are, take care, travel safe and Merry Christmas.

Happy Trails,
~Gary

DW fell in love with this unit, so we now own a 2012 Redwood 36 FL.
Several mods, 3rd AC, Bedroom Ceiling fan. I also redid cabling for LivingRoom TV/Blue Ray Cut holes and rerouted cables, it is embarassing how the cables run under the sideout and in the cabinets.
Bed room TV is a Fire waiting to happen all cables running to tv are "FORCED to make Hard Right angle turns, AC Cord possibe FIRE in due time, Coax Will fail Sound system cables will short out and fail, again Fixed all, although I count everything I did as simple, easy to fix.
I am waiting for other shoe to fall. I hate saying that as WE Both have fallen in love witht the unit.
My next task is dressing the cables, to stop several problems before they occur. I would love to talk to a REDwood rep about this minor stuff.
