How does one remove the TV over the doorway of the ACE 27.1? It is stationery in a fixed position.

rdm1465,

Sir. I have a 2016 ACE 30.2. I have to adjust mine on our bunk beds (13 inch which was easy) and so as on the bedroom ( 27 inch. I have to ask for assistance to slide it up of the bracket) ). Behind the TV there's a metal bracket attached to the TV. On the bottom of the bracket there should be two screws holding the TV bracket to the main bracket attached to the wall. I have to use a long phillips head to get to it. Shining a light on the bracket from the bottom you should be able to see the two screws. Just loosen/remove the two screws the whole tv and the bracket attached to the TV should slide up off the bracket that is attached to the wall. I would have attached a picture but I do not have a digital camera. I hope it works for you. It work for me. Please make sure to have a sturdy board on top of the stairwell where you will be standing and ask someone to assist you when you slide the TV up off the bracket.
Have a good day.

vr,Best regards
Willie from South Carolina

On my 27.1, the TV bracket is composed of two parts, one that is attached to the TV and another that is attached to the wall. The bracket parts are joined with two screws on each side. You have to reach behind the TV and unscrew these screws with a Phillips screwdriver while supporting the TV. I replaced my original TV with a 40" 4K TV. Much better than the original! It is awkward to remove and replace but not too difficult if you have someone to hold the TV while you remove the screws.
