Hello,
My husband and I are new ACE 29.2 owners. We purchased a 2013 with under 9,000 miles and at a great price two months ago from the original FL owners. Drove it home to NM without issue and started to work on the coach as it had been left outdoors and needed some cosmetic help. We also had to get rid of the roaches that had traveled back with us but that will be left for another post.
The trim pieces around coach back and roof were filthy with mold and had cracked in back so my husband replaced the entire trim. When he did he found that there were 10 missing screws on roof top under trim. They had never been installed. Great place for water to get in. The screws Thor installed are also cheap non stainless so many were rusted. The forward cab roof marker lights were also filled with water as never siliconed.
If anyone is having roof leaks you may want to pull out trim and check for missing screws. Very easy to replace with new trim for $25.00 on Amazon for a 100 ft roll. We replaced the white trim with black and are pleased with new look. Use silicone to seal all front and back edges of trim as that was never done.
