hi do any of you hurricane owners have a factory
sat dish instaled in your unit i was told that it's compatable with all systems i have star choice in the house and wondering if it will work the factory says yes.

Is it factory or dealer installed?.Do you have the brand name.

Larry the simple answer is no. Starchoice uses a totally different LNB, circular versus linear on Direct/Dish/Bell
Also the dish need to be skewable.
There are however 2 automatic systems on the market that are designed exclusivly for Starchoice. We are using the MotoSat MSC60 for Starchoice.

that is kind of what i thought on the rig we traded we had a movinveiw and it to only worked with direct,bell etc so we still have the direct recever active we will try this for a while and see if we like it befor we upgrade to an auto system.

Frankie, you need to have a Canadian address in order to subscribe to the Starchoice service.
It is popular with the folks who travel down to Mexico since you can receive a good signal there also. Many subscribe through a broker since they don't have a Canadian address.
