Is it worth the cost?

Round trip to nearest CW 170? miles.
$51 fuel for $20 piece of plastic?
Just mail it to me and I will install it.

I called Thor, asked if they would would mail it to me. They said it had to go through a dealer. Told me to call dealer, have them order it from Thor, and have the dealer tell Thor to ship it to my address.

Called local Camping World service, got voice mail, left message. 5 days ago, have not heard back from them.

CW service called yesterday. Part ordered, 2 weeks to get. Would not ship to me. He said he would call me when the part came in and we could determine install at that time. I have a feeling, at that point, he will say I have to bring the coach in to get it replaced.

Yea, I got the letter and called Thor. They will not ship it to me, and my dealer is 110 miles away. Because it seems so unlikely the shower curtain can catch fire with me in the coach, I am ignoring the letter until it is convenient for me to go there. I called the dealer, and have sent Bretz three (3) emails and they have ignored them all so I don't know if they ordered the curtain or not. Way to go, Bretz!

Just think of all the money Thor will save if they can make the process as difficult as possible, yet still comply with the recall notification.
You the consumer do not want to, or cannot spend your time and resources. In my case approximately three hours driving time, who knows how long at the dealer, and $40.00+ in fuel. So many owners will just choose to ignore it and Thor can save the $$.
I am guessing their argument will be- " We have to guarantee that said defective part was actually replaced for liability purposes." Simple, have the defective item shipped back.
I realize not everyone is able to or wants to replace their shower curtain - but for those that can?

Just my 2 cents worth
An Unhappy Thor Customer

Maybe I'll just hang a fire extinguisher in the hall near the bathroom, may be easier.

Does anyone have a picture of the recalled doors? Called Thor and they said mine were not part of the recall but wanted to check.

Another week before mine arrives at dealer, maybe. I'll post a pic if and when it arrives unless someone else gets it sooner.
