Sirius upgrade

Anyone have their Radio/Side and Rear Camera viewing screen system go to "blackout"? I tried to upgrade my system by pushing button on screen that I thought was to begin to upgrade my sirius radio but instead the screen went to black screen and now it show NOTHING. I tried to turn off ignition and start but nothing.

Any help or advice is truly needed.

I did the same thing, you have to get the system reprogrammed. I had a dealer fix mine and order me the sat. antenna and tuner. It's getting installed tomorrow, then I will be sat ready. Until you get the antenna and tuner you are not sat ready.

Just a small point- the radio is sat ready. When you attach the antenna and tuner it then becomes sat enabled.

This is not a Sirius XM system. Did you simply get the Tuner and Antenna for your Sirius or did you upgrade to SiriusXM? If you did upgrade what device did you have to buy?

This is what you need to make your radio pick up Sirius/XM stations with a subscription.

Did the install go well? Did you have them place/install antenna on roof of Palazzo? I plan to visit outlet today and schedule my set up.

Be Safe

As far as the unit it just plugs into the back of the radio. At first we installed the antenna on the dash as close to the windshield as possible. However the reception was not that great. I now have it installed on the roof. The radio shop wouldn't install it on the roof so I talked the tech at Thor into installing it for me while I was there for warranty issues.
