Stability and performance issues / 27.1

I have read at various times in this forum about a stability fix for handling. What is it called and has anyone had it performed near Olympia WA. Same issue with a professional tune, what is the technical name and who in same area might do this work. My gas mileage on a recently completed 2500 mile road trip was 8.62. My average speed is about 62 up from 55 and my mph did get better with higher speed, but I have heard some THOR ACE owners are getting 9+.

Try this thread. It has an index at Post #1369 on page 98. It is primarily about the 29.3 but handling and mileage should be similar to yours.

Enter these in the search bar above:

"CHF" Cheap handling fix
"5 Star Tune"

Lots of info about these two items.

Most 29.3 owners that I have heard from get about 7.5 to 8.5 miles per gallon. Many factors affect mileage, terrain, speed, driving habits, tire pressure, generator use, dash AC use, coach loading/towing, wind.

For me handling is excellent after:

1.Setting tire pressure correctly
2. CHF
3. Adding rear track bar

Am still looking for reliable repair facility within 30-40 miles of Olympia, WA. Will not go to Coumbs. I went once, cost me $700 plus to repair their failures.

I live in North Carolina so not much help with repair shop in Washington.
Any mechanic willing to crawl under the RV should be able to do CHF and install track bar. Did these myself in driveway. 5 star is plug and play I believe. I have not installed this on mine. 5 Star will walk you through the process.

One of my brothers lives in Olympia. I sent him a text asking for RV repair recommendation. He has a Bigfoot Class C that he has driven the wheels off of. Maybe he can come up with a suggestion.

Thank you for the recommendation triplewide! Our new units are plug and play. From start to finish they take 5-10 minutes to install. If anyone is uncomfortable performing the installs themselves we are always happy to walk them through the process over the phone.

While I've not gotten 5 start tuning, (they came on the scene after I was finished my diesel truck tuning )
I can vouch for the ease of installation of electronic tuning...

Let's say this, if you can follow simple instructions,
tune your radio and start your car, you can do this
