If true, you got problems. Maybe contact the manufacturer, if they did it to yours maybe they did it to others and have a fix already. This is a big problem, and I would say violates industry standards. Is it new, or or new to you? (My 06 first entered service in 2008.)

We had this issue on our new 2016 Palazzo. Luckily we noticed it on the PDI at the dealer and made them fix it before we would accept the unit. They had a technician take both the gray and black tank drain pipes off. He reversed the drain assemblies and reinstalled on the proper sides so the larger pipe was plumbed to the black tank and the smaller pipe exited the gray tank. It took some time to reverse. It all had to be taken apart piece by piece and eventually re-glued etc but it was corrected using the existing pipes and fittings. It was just a bit of a hassle getting it all loose. Our black and gray handles are now reversed but we know this and drain accordingly.

You have to wonder why this type of oversight occurs and how many units have this same issue but hasn't been noticed yet. Perhaps the prior unit on the line was a different floor plan...

I imagine quite alot, QA at the factory is really a wrong word to use
more like quit assessing is a better term.

our tuscany was brand new, sat in a dealer showroom for a year....
all kinds of stuff they should have noticed before it left the factory...like hmmm a small hole in the block that squirted oil spray. yep
