Question Thor 2014 Challenger Help

Help we have a leak! First time Rv'rs and have to say it has been challenging.

When long slide out (living area) is out it does not leak. When we pull it in it leaks. A major leak. When we pull it in we hear it hissing and have to shut water off immediately. Don't know where to even start to look. Any help would be appreciated. Thank you.

Where is the water evident? You have a water connection that is probably under the slide and moves with the slide. I would start by finding the slide water supply and try to watch it move as someone else operates the slide while you lay under it (possibly in a bathing suit)

As Quincy said look for the water.
A hissing sound is interesting if we are talking about a water leak. Are you hooked to city water? If not, does the water pump run when the hissing is present? I'm not familiar with your coach. Does it have propane? Is this a kitchen slide?
Sorry for questions with no answers. Need a little more info to help find a solution.

Good luck and all the best!

We don't have a kitchen slide or any slide with water in it, but you obviously do. Call Thor's customer service/emergency number. They can be very helpful, even after warranty.

Do you have a connection for a washer n dryer ? Our 2018 Challenger has the plumbing for the washer in the closet next to the couch, remove the back panel to access. Also the hot water heater and plumbing is on the opposite end of the same closet. This Could be the source of your leak.

The leak seems to be under the left rear closets. Also that is where hissing is coming from when slide is in and water is turned on. Our closets are in the long slide opposite kitchen area. Washer is on kitchen area side.

Our Challenger is a 2018 37LX. I know in our coach we have water lines and plumbing on both sides and in the rear for the master bath. I would suggest looking for a removable panel on the back wall or end wall of the closet where you hear the hissing/water leaking. What model Challenger do you have I would like to see the floor plan to get a better idea of your plumbing layout.
