Welcome to Irv2.com and the Thor forum.I know there is a Mandalay group that gets together.I have looked and found nothing on any kind of group for the gassers or pull trailers. I did contact Fourwinds to let them know they have a following here.When and if I hear back I will post thier reply.

Thanks very much Frankie. FYI, my wife and I just bought (sending signed paperwork in today) a Hurricane 34N. I see you own one also. Our pick up date is 4/29. Anything we should be aware of? Thanks

Thats awsome.We are getting a lot of use out of ours.My best advice is to plan on taking some time with your PDI(pre delivery inspection)Good advice with any purchase.There are a ton of guideline type list circulating around the net,and even do a search here.Take a camera,video or pad of paper and write everything down.If your like most of us we get all giddy about our new purchase and forget to ask questions.Be prepared to leave it if you are not satisfied.The pdi is when you will have the attention you deserve from the service dept.Open and close the slides,call ahead and tell them to turn on fridge the night before so its cold.Run the heat and both ac's.Make them de winterize and run hot water heater and pump.Call the dealer ahead so there are no surprises. If you have any questions from me ,ask.I know my rig pretty well and am currently training to be a rv tech.

welcome Somarmd, congrats on your hurricane if you are ever near Ga or Fl or S.C. Look me up . I am always inviting poeple to this site. Give it some time and might all get together and have a RALLY

Thanks guy's for the advice. We decided to call ahead of time to review the list we gave them, when we looked at the unit (the last time). We will take our time and take plenty of notes. Never attended a Rally but sounds like fun!
