Thor Aria 3901
Curious to know the good and bad from those of you that own this coach. It's one of the coaches we're considering.

What have others compared the 3901 to and what was chosen? Seems like a lot of bang for the buck. Great floor plan.

Considering Tiffin Allegro Red, Fleetwood Discovery LXE, and Entegra Insignia 44B. A little broad, I know, but this will be our FT home for at least the next few years. These have floor plans that would work well for us and range from 38' to 45'.

Looking for comments. In its price/size range, what else should be considered? You other options seem quite higher. Sitting on the sidelines and hoping some current Aria 3901 owners will share their Pre-purchase evaluations here!

If your looking for a DP with a front overhead bunk and opposing slides the Aria's and the Venetian's are the only game in town, Right now it may be possible to get a 2017 Venetian A40 for the 3901 price. Virtually identical floorplans except for the drivers side bedroom slideout. The Aria was the FMCA magazine cover coach a few months ago for that reason or the relative newness of the line they aren't being discounted as much as you may want. I was looking for a 3901 when I found a 2017 Venetian T42 for the same price. YMMV

We purchased an Aria 3601 in May. We have had it on two short trips this summer, out of our seasonal lake site. So far the only issues have been cosmetic and misunderstanding.
The cosmetic issues are nicks and bumps on the interior, the result of inattention in assembly.
The misunderstanding is due to the electrical logic in the coach. In total the coach has about 114.3 amps of equipment on board, not counting the draw from lights and tv's. With normal 50 amp service you can't have it all running at once. In addition there is a "power draw" logic in the design. If you are running the electric fireplace and the electric water heater comes on for demand the system will shut down (shed) the fireplace and it will shut off to provide the power to the water heater. When this happened to us we thought we had a problem, but when we talked to Thor customer service they explained the logic.
I would recommend that you have this explained up front so you understand the logic.
Otherwise we love the layout and features. We are headed to Florida in a few weeks for our first major trip.
