Thor Four Winds Owners

I have a 2017 Four Winds on a Sprinter Chassis. I wish there was a sub-forum for Four Winds owners, but as there isn't one (yet?) I'd like to know who else has a Four Winds, and anything you've done to make it 'better'

For example, we have the dinette, but already we decided we want to take that out and replace it with theatre-style recliners. We also want a chair-height commode.

We have a 2007 Four Winds hurricane on a Ford F53 chassis. Still thinking about mods we want to make.

We are new here and new to RVing. Just bought our 1994 Class C Four Winds. If it originally had a dinette area, it does no longer. It's got a sofa on one side (behind the cab) and a futon on the other. We bought ourselves a table to put in between for eating and card-playing. It's got a nice queen bed in the rear with a new-ish memory foam bed that the previous owners put in. There's not much we'd want to change in it, really. :-)

Welcome.

I purchased a 2017 on a diesel sprinter chassis used. It has 5500 miles on it. It's not scheduled for its first oil change until 25000!!

Except for the minor changes listed above, we think it's pretty close to perfect.

One thing I hear a lot about for ALL RVs are leaks. I plan on getting a lifetime roof (similar to rhino bedliner) so that's one less thing. I hope we all have a great time with our units!

At what point in the Four Winds timeline would you like to include? Prior to the 1992 acquisition by Thor? Prior to the 2010 merger with Thor but not before the acquisition or just after the merger? Are you look for just the Four Winds products built on the Sprinter chassis which is currently only one model or all Ford Winds products?

I have a 2006 Four Winds Hurricane class A built on a Ford F53. Very different configuration than a B+ on a Sprinter. Camping buddy has a recent model of a Four Winds class C on a Chevy chassis. Also very different. See the problem?
