My wife and I have (I believe) finally decided on purchasing a new Freedom Elite class C and want to know if anyone has any info (good or bad) before we buy.

Most usually, the Freedom Elite line is a specific deal with Thor Motor Coach (TMC) and Camping World that sells these Class C's which almost identical to their FourWinds line.

There are exceptions like used can be found for sale at other dealers, but the biggest majority of new RV sales are at Camp World.

The TMC FourWinds and near duplicate Chateau lines have been best selling in their segment for years, offering a high value and good price point in highly desirable floorplans...

Freedom Elite is a further refinement of the line (fewer floor plans and options).

These are well built RV's that use very common systems in the entire RV for ease of maint/repair.

We just purchased this model at the Golden CO location. My best advice is before you sign the papers or write the check Do a walk through and make them fix everything you find. The reason for this is customer service goes out the window when you drive off the lot. They will tell you to take your first trip and they'll fix all the things that pop up along with the things you found on the walk through. Don't wait you'll just end up calling and calling to get all these items taken care of. Once you pay and drive away you have no leverage and your at their mercy.
